We are constantly developing new genetics + new products to add variety to the market. We have a designated amount of space in our facility specifically dedicated to rotating new genetics. This means each year you can count on us to release brand new strains to the CT market! This also means that you may only see these strains once. Let us explain:

Enter the Limited Edition Program

Limited Edition strains are brand new genetics from Theraplant that are being developed & grown on a trial basis. When testing new strains we grow a handful of samples of a few different variations, or phenotypes, of each strain. If any particular phenotype shows great promise, we will start growing a small test batch. If the test batch goes well we may opt to continue growing it, but if it does not meet our high standards we will retire the genetics and continue the hunt.

This program is intended to keep the patients of CT informed about our process and to manage expectations. Don’t get us wrong, we like surprises here but only the good kind! When we grow test batches of a new strain we are looking for many variables, but ultimately our goal is to provide high quality medicine at an affordable price, consistently. Along the way there are guaranteed to be lots of great strains with unique cannabinoid & terpene profiles that might not make the cut simply because they take too long to grow or don’t yield a sufficient amount. We hold our genetics to high standards so that you (patients of CT!) can have consistent access to the medicine that works for you at a price you can afford. So enjoy these Limited Edition strains while they’re out there; they’re still high quality medicine!
